Samsung is reportedly working on Galaxy On7 Prime (2018) as it has been founded on GFXBench benchmarking site. The specs of the smartphone that have appeared on GFXBench reveals that it will be a minor upgrade over the predecessor phone.
The Galaxy On7 Prime (2018)’s listing on GFXBench has revealed that it has a model number of SM-G611. It is fitted with a 5.5-inch display that carries support for full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Samsung Exynos 7870 chipset that includes Mali-T830 graphics will be driving the smartphone. The same display and chipset can be found on the predecessor model.
The SoC on the Galaxy On7 Prime (2018) will be supported by 3 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 32 GB. For photography, it will be arriving with a rear-facing camera of 12-megapixel. It is also expected to arrive with a 12-megapixel selfie camera. The predecessor model features an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The handset will arrive loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The Galaxy On7 (2016) Prime is sold as Galaxy J7 Prime in some markets. Hence, the Galaxy On7 Prime (2018) is pegged to launch as Galaxy J7 Prime (2018) in certain markets.
