A Samsung smartphone with model number SM-G615F has appeared on GFXBench benchmarking site. It is speculated to be the successor of the Galaxy On7 Pro (2016) in July 2016. According to GFXBench listing, the SM-G615 Galaxy On7 Pro (2017) has a 5.7-inch display that supports a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The predecessor phone has a 5.5-inch display that supports an HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The screen of the upcoming Galaxy On7 Pro (2017) is shielded by Gorilla Glass.
The Galaxy On7 Pro (2016) is powered by Snapdragon 410 chipset. However, its upgraded edition of the phone is driven by MediaTek MT6757 Helio P20 chipset that features an octa-core processor that clocks at 2.3 GHz along with Mali-T880MP2 graphics. The SoC is coupled with 3 GB of RAM. The native storage of the phone has increased twofold to 32 GB compared to the older model.
A 13-megapixel rear camera is present on the upcoming Galaxy On7 Pro along with a 13-megapixel front-facing snapper. It will be coming other features such as Android 7.0 Nougat OS, a fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port. The appearance of Galaxy On7 Pro (2017) on the benchmarking site suggests that its launch is drawing near.
