Last week, the promo posters and retail box images of the upcoming Samsung phone called the Galaxy Quantum 2 had appeared online. This phone will be heading to South Korean markets, but other regions may receive it as the Galaxy A82 5G. Today, reliable tipster Ice Universe shared the live shots of the Galaxy A82 5G to reveal its front and rear design.
The images show that the Galaxy A82 (Quantum 2) will be featuring a centrally aligned punch-hole screen, which is surrounded by slim bezels. The back panel of the device has a matte finish, and it features a rectangle-shaped camera module at the top-left corner. It comprises of three cameras and an LED flash.
The live shots suggest that the Galaxy Quantum 2 is now kept on display at offline stores in South Korea. The poster that had appeared last week revealed that it is available for pre-orders until April 19, and it will launch on April 23 in the home market of Samsung.
Past reports have revealed that the Galaxy A82 will be featuring a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with an Infinity-O design. It is expected to offer features like a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Snapdragon 855+ chipset is expected to power the Galaxy A82 with 6 GB of RAM. The phone may offer users 128 GB of storage. It may draw power from a 4,500mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. Other rumored features of the smartphone include a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS, IP67 rating, Dolby Atmos support, and a microSD card slot.
