Samsung has introduced a new smartphone called the Galaxy S Lite Luxury Edition exclusively for the Chinese market. The specifications of the smartphone suggest that it is a slightly lower edition of the Galaxy S8 smartphone from last year.

Like the Galaxy S8, the Galaxy S Lite Luxury Edition has a 5.8-inch S-AMOLED Infinity Display that supports an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 along with FHD+ resolution. The back panel of the phone appears a bit different from the Galaxy S8 as it does not feature a heart rate sensor. Sadly, the fingerprint scanner is placed besides the rear camera like the Galaxy S8. The handset sports an IP68 rated body and comes in colors like Burgundy Red and Mystery Night Black.
The Snapdragon 660 SoC powers the phone with 4 GB of RAM. It has a 64 GB of internal storage and it also features a microSD card slot. It has an OIS enabled rear camera of 16-megapixel. At the front resides the AI equipped 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It has a 3,000mAh battery and comes loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo that tags along features like Bixby assistant and Samsung Pay.
Samsung Galaxy S Lite Luxury Edition Pricing
The handset is priced at 3,999 Yuan ($626), but through the launch offer it can be availed with a discounted pricing of 3,799 Yuan ($579) along with a free wireless charger or 256 GB microSD card. The box package of the phone includes earphones tuned by AKG.
The pre-orders of the phone have started from today. Its sales will begin in China from June 1.
