A new Samsung smartphone bearing the model number SM-G781B had been spotted on Geekbench today. This device, according to reports, is expected to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite which may also be marketed as the Galaxy S20 FE according to rumors.
Just like what earlier reports have suggested, the Geekbench listing reaffirmed that the Galaxy S20 Lite will be driven by the flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC. Although the device tested comes with 6GB RAM, but there is likely to be another model with 8GB RAM as well.
Apart from that, the same listing also revealed that the Galaxy S20 Lite had attained an overall score of 737 points and 2,619 points respectively for its single-core and multi-cores performance tests.
As usual, the Galaxy S20 Lite is poised to be a more affordable alternative to the current Galaxy S20 series flagship models. Therefore, the device is expected to feature toned-down specs and more specifically a slightly downgraded camera system.
If nothing goes wrong, we can expect the Galaxy S20 Lite to debut within the next couple of months.
