Samsung is now working on the Galaxy S21 series that is expected to break cover in the first quarter of 2021. Fresh information reveals that the production of the Galaxy S21 series will begin a month earlier as compared to last year. This suggests that the South Korean company may launch the S21 series earlier than expected.
According to the South Korean publication The Elec, Samsung is set to begin the Galaxy S21 production a month earlier as its predecessor Galaxy S20 went into production phase in January with sales commencing in March this year. Since the S21 series is heading towards earlier than its predecessors, Samsung is likely to begin its official sales a month sooner.
The publication claims that Roh Tae-Moon who was annoucned as Samsung Mobile who was appointed as Samsung Mobile’s new chief at the beginning of this year has been continuously making changes in the strategy of company’s smartphone business. The early arrival of the Galaxy S21 series could be yet another strategy by TM Roh to take capitalize on Huawei’s ongoing problems. Due to the US sanctions, the Chinese brand will not be able to secure Kirin 9000 application processors built by TSMC staring from Q4 2020.
The South Korean publication has further revealed that the Galaxy S21 series has here models that are referred to as O1, P3, and T2 in the report. These models could be the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Plus Pro. The S21 series will arrive in multiple colors like gray, pink, violet, white, and silver.
Samsung has been announcing Galaxy branded earbuds with S-series since 2019. Hence, it is likely to announce the Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds alongside the Galaxy S21 lineup. The new earbuds that is codenamed as Attic are expected to deliver better water resistance. It will arrive in color options like black, silver, and violet.
