Samsung is reportedly working on a couple of new FE-branded products. For those who don’t know, FE stands for “Fan Edition,” which are affordably priced flagship offering from the brand. As per a new X post by tipster Max Jambor, Samsung plans to launch its next FE-branded models in the last quarter of 2024.
The leak reveals that the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE will debut in Q4 2024. While the tipster has not mentioned the names of the products, it appears that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus will also launch with the above-mentioned devices. There are some unconfirmed rumors that claim that the company could be working on FE-branded foldable phones.
As far as the Galaxy S23 FE is concerned, it is expected to come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a 12-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 12-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 8-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera system.
In some markets, the S23 FE may arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip onboard. Other markets may receive the Exynos 2200 chip variant. The device is expected to come with 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of internal storage, and a 4,500mAh battery. The S23 FE may support 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE Plus are expected to feature 10.9-inch and 12.4-inch LCD panels, respectively. The device will run on a One UI 5.1-based Android 13 and an Exynos 1380 chip. Both models will feature dual speakers and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The Tab S9 FE will feature 6 GB and a single rear camera, whereas the Tab S9 FE Plus will be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and a dual-camera system.
