At the beginning of this year, Samsung announced the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones. There are speculations that the brand may unveil the Galaxy S24 FE later this year or by early 2025. A new leak, courtesy of GalaxyClub publication, has revealed the first details of the S24 FE camera capabilities.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE camera details (rumored)
The publication reveals that the Galaxy S24 Fan Edition, codenamed R12, will feature a 50-megapixel Samsung GN3 primary camera. It is a 1/1.57-inch camera sensor with 1.0?m pixels and a maximum resolution of 8160 x 6144 pixels.
For those who don’t know, the above-mentioned camera is also available in the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S23, and the Galaxy S23 FE. So, it is good to see the brand offer a high-end primary camera on the S24 FE.
Previous reports have revealed that the Galaxy S24 Fan Edition has the SM-S721 model number. Unfortunately, nothing else is known about the device.
Depending on the market, the Galaxy S24 FE will replace the Galaxy S23 FE, which debuted with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 chip. Both variants came equipped with identical specifications, featuring a 6.4-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, a 10-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 12-megapixel (ultrawide) + 8-megapixel (2x telephoto) triple camera unit.
The Galaxy S23 FE came with 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The S23 FE came preloaded with One UI 6.1-based Android 14.
