Samsung Galaxy S24+, S24 Ultra battery sizes, chipset revealed

Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected to launch in Q1 2024. The first details of the S24 lineup emerged today as the Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24 Ultra have both received approval from the TUV Rheinland. In addition, the S24 Plus has appeared on the Geekbench revealing its chipset, RAM, and Android version. 

The Galaxy S24 Plus, which has the SM-S926 model number, has emerged on Geekbench and TUV certification. The Geekbench listing reveals that it is powered by an upcoming Qualcomm chipset, which includes one prime core operating at 3.30GHz, 3 x CPU cores working a 3.15GHz, 2 x CPU cores clocking at 2.96GHz and 2X CPU cores running at 2.27GHz. As per the source code of the listing, the chipset includes the Adreno 750 GPU. It is nothing but the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S24 are yet to appear on Geekbench. In all likelihood, both models will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. However, there is a possibility that the S24 series may arrive with an. Exynos chip in some markets. 

As mentioned above, the Galaxy S24 Plus and the Galaxy S24 Ultra have also been approved by the TUV certification platform. These listings suggest hat that he S24+ and S24 Ultra will feature 5,000mAh and 5,100mAh batteries, respectively. 

As per other reports, the Galaxy S24 Plus may arrive with support 45W fast charging. The Ultra model is likely to come with support for 65W rapid charging.
