Samsung has officially announced that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on 22nd January at 10:00 AM PST. The event will unveil the much anticipated Galaxy S25 series, featuring the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra models. A new model called the Galaxy S25 Slim is also expected to join the lineup later. Pre-reservations for the S25 series are already underway, offering customers exclusive benefits.
Samsung Galaxy S25 series pre-reservation begins
Those reserving the Galaxy S25 series through Samsung.com or the Samsung Shop app can enjoy several perks. By reserving today, customers will receive a $50 Samsung Credit, which can be redeemed towards ecosystem purchases during the pre-order phase.
Additionally, they will earn triple Samsung Reward points on their pre-order purchase, adding extra value to their investment. As part of the pre-reservation program, customers will also be automatically entered into a sweepstakes with a grand prize of $5,000 for one lucky winner.
While the launch event will be held in the US, users can watch the livestream through the Samsung Newsroom website, Samsung.com, and its YouTube channel. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t confirmed any details of the S25 lineup’s specifications. It is speculated that the S25 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. However, some markets may receive the Exynos 2500-powered versions of the S25 and S25+.
Apart from the Galaxy S25 series, the company is expected to make a couple of other announcements through the upcoming event. It is likely to unveil an AI-driven version of the Bixby assistant. It may also announce new size variants of the Galaxy Ring.
