Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy Z series of foldable phones in numerous markets, including China. The next flagship offering from the South Korean tech giant will be the Galaxy S25 series, which is expected to debut in January 2025. A new development reveals that the Galaxy S25 Ultra has reportedly completed the registration process in China.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra battery, charging, camera details (rumored)
The Galaxy S25 Ultra’s Chinese variant has completed registration in China, according to Digital Chat Station. While the source is reliable, we could not find the S25 Ultra listed in any of the Chinese certifications, such as radio certification, MIIT, TENAA, or 3C.
DCS further revealed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be among the first batch of phones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery (4,855mAh rated value) with 45W fast charging support.
While competing brands are planning to offer around 6,000mAh battery with 100W rapid charging support, it appears that the S25 Ultra will continue to offer 5,000mAh+45W battery and charging combination, which it began with the S20 Ultra back in 2020. The BIS authority in India recently certified the S25 Ultra batteries bearing the EB-BS938ABE and EB-BS938ABY model numbers.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra’s rear camera setup will have a 200-megapixel primary camera, a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. While it is not mentioned in the leak, the S25 Ultra will continue to have a camera for ultrawide shots. The device’s other specifications are under wraps.
