The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ flagship phones are speculated to debut in Q1 2018. These phones are expected to retain the Infinity Display design that were introduced on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ phones. Benjamin Geskin who was praised for revealing leaked information on 2017 iPhones including their renders is now revealing information on the Galaxy S9 duo.
According to Geskin, the unlocked single SIM and dual SIM models of the Galaxy S9 will arrive with respective model numbers of SM-G960F and SM-G960FD. The unlocked variant of the Galaxy S9 that will be arriving in the U.S. will have a model number of SM-G960U. The Verizon variant will have a model number of SM-G960V
In the same way, the unlocked single SIM and dual SIM variants of the Galaxy S9+ will have respective model numbers of SM-G965F and SM-G965D. The unlocked and Verizon variant of Galaxy S9+ for the U.S. will have respectively model numbers of SM-G965U and SM-G965V.
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ heading to the U.S. and China will be driven by Snapdragon 845 and the other markets will get 10nm Exynos 9 octa variants. These models will have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The Galaxy S9 duo are expected to sport better dual cameras than the Note 8.
