Last week, we heard from Samsung’s mobile boss that the Korean company will be unveiling their latest Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ duo during the upcoming MWC event in February. Right now, the pair had already been certified by the US Federal Communications Commission authority which revealed the model numbers of the respective devices.
According to its FCC listing, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be carrying the model number SM-G960 and SM-G965 respectively. All the aforementioned model number will ends with an alphabet U, U1, W, as well as XU to signify the different variants. The first two is purported to represent the US models, while the third and forth alphabets denote the Canadian model and demo units respectively.
Similarly, it was also revealed that the Galaxy S9 duo will be able to support most of the major LTE, GSM, CDMA and UMTS bands regardless of its carriers. Both devices will be manufactured in 3 countries including China, Vietnam, as well as Korea.
