The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and Tab S2 9.7 announced last week, has finally has finally made its debut in Hong Kong and Taiwan today.
According to the Korean manufacturer, the Galaxy Tab S2 series is so far the company’s thinnest and lightest tablets ever produced.
Apart from their differences in sizes and battery capacity, both tablets share the same specs sheet with each other. Of course, the Tab S2 8.0 will come with a smaller battery capacity at 4,000mAh while the Tab S2 9.7 with a 5,870mAh capacity instead.
Other key features for these two tablets include a Eynos 5433 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB ROM, microSD slot, 8MP main camera, 2MP front-facing camera for selfies, Wi-Fi / 4G LTE, as well as the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Pricing-wise, the Tab S2 8.0 Wi-Fi will cost approximately $398 and approximately $527 for the 4G LTE version. On the other hand, the Tab S2 9.7 Wi-Fi will have a price tag of $501 while the 4G LTE version at $630. However, do bear in mind that these are the pricing for the Hong Kong market so it might differ slightly else where.
