Earlier this year, Samsung had launched a low-powered Galaxy Tab S5e tablet. Fresh information reveals that the South Korean company will launch a new flagship tablet in August this year. It is speculated to be fueled by the Snapdragon 855 chipset. Rumors have it that it will be launching as Galaxy Tab S5.
The SD855 SoC powered Galaxy Tab S5 is expected to arrive with a S-Pen stylus. Since the past five years, the company has been launching tablets in the month of August. Hence, there is a possibility that the Galaxy Tab S5 may go official in August. The Tab S5 is expected to arrive with 6 GB of RAM. It may sport up to 512 GB of native storage. The leak claims that there won’t be a 64 GB edition of the smartphone. There is no information on the other specifications of the Galaxy Tab S5.
The Galaxy Tab S5e features a Super AMOLED display of 10.5 inches. It carries support for full HD resolution. The SD670 SoC powered tablet comes in 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The rear side of the tablet features a 13-megapixel camera. Placed on the frontside of the device is an 8-megapixel sensor. It is packed with a 7,040mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
