Samsung has officially announced its next major Galaxy Unpacked event, confirming when its upcoming flagship smartphones will be unveiled. The Galaxy S26 lineup is expected to headline the event, following months of leaks that have already hinted at design changes and hardware details.
Galaxy S26 series launch date officially confirmed

Galaxy Unpacked 2026 will take place on February 25 in San Francisco, with the event scheduled to begin at 10 am PT. Viewers can watch the livestream through Samsung’s official website, newsroom, and YouTube channel. The company is widely expected to introduce three models, namely the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, continuing its flagship lineup strategy.
Samsung has also opened pre-reservations ahead of the event. Customers in certain regions can register early to receive promotional credits, trade-in bonuses, and additional incentives when pre-ordering the upcoming smartphones. Although the company has not officially confirmed the full specifications, the confirmed launch date aligns with earlier reports that pointed toward a late-February announcement.
Leaked information suggests that the Galaxy S26 and S26+ may feature the Exynos 2600 chipset in most regions, paired with 12GB RAM and display sizes similar to their predecessors. The Galaxy S26 is rumored to include a 4,300mAh battery, while the S26+ could retain a 4,900mAh capacity. Camera hardware on both devices is expected to remain largely unchanged.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is tipped to feature a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, along with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 60W wired and 25W wireless charging. Although megapixel counts may stay the same, improved lens apertures are expected. Samsung has indicated that Galaxy AI will play a central role, with a focus on making intelligent features more seamlessly integrated into everyday interactions.
