Samsung Galaxy W20 Key Specs Revealed on TENAA

Samsung has scheduled a launch event on Nov. 19. It will be used to announce the Galaxy W20 5G foldable phone. While the name of the device sounds different, it is nothing but a 5G version of the Galaxy Fold for China powered by the new Snapdragon 855+ chipset.  With the launch drawing near, the Galaxy W20 that has a model number of SM-W2020 has appeared with minimum details on the database of TENAA regulatory body of China.

The SM-W2020 W20 Galaxy 5G phone has 160.9 x 117.9 x 6.9mm and it is equipped with two screens. While the details one screen is not available yet, the other one is of 4.6 inches. It is backed by a minimum rated battery of 4,135mAh battery. The images of the device have also appeared on TENAA, but rest of its specifications are currently under the wraps.

The SM-W2020 model was recently spotted at 3C through which it was found that it is a 5G device and the charger that will come along with it may support 15W rapid charging. All the aforementioned information matches with the regular edition of the Snapdragon 855 SoC powered Galaxy Fold that is now selling in China. Hence, it appears as the rumor mill has predicted that Galaxy W20 5G is the Snapdragon 855+ edition of Galaxy Fold with 5G support. The SM-W2020 phone has bagged approval from Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG bodies too.
