Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Press Renders Leaked

The rumor mill has been consistently leaking information on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 wearable. Recently, the smartwatch had appeared in a couple of live shots. The Galaxy Watch 3 is expected to go official in July. Today, reliable tipster Evan Blass shared the leaked press renders of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3.

The model number SM-R840 can be seen as mentioned underneath the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 which indicates that it is a 41mm version. The larger 45mm variant of the smartwatch has an SM-R850 model number. These models are rumored to respectively feature 1.2-inch and 1.4-inch displays.

The 41mm edition of the Galaxy Watch 3 has a 247mAh battery whereas the larger model has 340mAh battery. The rear image of the smartwatch confirms some other features such as Gorilla Glass DX protection for the display, MIL-STD-810G durability, 5ATM water resistance, and built-in GPS.

The device seems to be equipped with a leather strap and a stainless-steel casing. Previous reports have claimed that the smartwatch has a rotatable bezel.

The Galaxy Watch 3 features 1 GB of RAM and a native storage of 8 GB. The device runs on Tizen OS 5.5. Some of the health-centric sensors that will be available on the smartwatch are heart rate monitor, blood pressure tracker, and sleep tracker.

The Galaxy Watch 3 is also expected to come with ECG support. For connectivity, the smartwatch is expected to offer features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. There is no word on the pricing of the Galaxy Watch 3. The smartwatch is expected to break cover in July since it has already received Bluetooth SIG certification. The South Korean company may also unveil the Galaxy Buds Live alongside it.
