On July 26, Samsung will hold its next Galaxy Unpacked to announce multiple devices, including the Galaxy Watch 6 series. The lineup, which comprises two devices, namely, the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, will succeed last year’s Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Classic New leaks have revealed the key details of the Galaxy Watch 6 series before its official announcement.
The first leak includes the belowposter, which reveals that there will be Wi-Fi only variants of the Galaxy Watch 6 40mm, the Galaxy Watch 6 44mm, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 43mm, and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm. In addition, there will be Wi-Fi only + LTE (cellular) versions of all four models.
The second leak has spilt information about the key features of the 40mm and 44mm Galaxy Watch 6 models. Both models will mainly differ in departments like display and battery size.
The 40mm model will feature a 1.31-inch Super AMOLED sapphire display and house a 300mAh battery. On the other hand, the 44mm version will have a larger 1.47-inch display of the same type and a 425mAh battery.
Both the 40mm and 44mm variants of the Galaxy Watch 6 are said to offer 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. They will also include features such as Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and LE connectivity via e-SIM.
The Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are expected to feature the Exynos W930 chip. As mentioned above, the Classic model will come in 43mm and 47mm. Hence, it is expected to arrive with a larger display and a bigger battery. In addition, it will have a physical rotating bezel, which was previously seen on the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, which debuted in 2021.
