Priced at 299 euros, the Galaxy XCover 4s is an affordable rugged smartphone that has arrived as a successor for the Galaxy XCover 4 smartphone that was made official in 2017. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 4s rugged smartphone comes with an IP68 rated waterproof and dust-resistant body. The MIL-STD-810G certification ensures that the Galaxy XCover 4s remains protected from extreme climatic conditions. Instead of capacitive buttons, the smartphone features physical buttons for back, home and recent apps below the display. There is an extra hardware key called XCover key that can be configured to launch a desired app or function.
The Galaxy XCover features a 5-inch display that supports HD resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. The Exynos 788 chipset powers the phone with 3 GB of RAM. It has an inbuilt storage of 32 GB and a microSD card slot for additional storage. The phone is packed with a 2,800mAh battery that can be charged through USB-C. The rear side of the phone features a single LED flash enabled 16-megapixel camera. On the front is a selfie snapper of 5-megapixel.
The Galaxy XCover 4s comes only in Black color. It will be available in Europe with a price tag of 299 euros starting from next month.
