In March 2018, Samsung had launched the Galaxy XCover 4 smartphone. The smartphone had met with good reception since it came with a rugged body and affordable price tag. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy XCover 4s smartphone as its successor. Today, Winfutur.de revealed the entire specifications of the phone along with its renders.
As mentioned above, the Galaxy XCover 4s is equipped with a rugged IP68 certified dustproof and water-resistant. It is also a MIL-STD-810G rated device that can withstand harsh climatic conditions. The body of the phone has a rubber coating that prevents it from getting damaged easily through impact.
The XCover 4s has a 5-inch LCD display that supports HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a conventional aspect ratio of 16:9. The Exynos 7885 chipset powers the phone with 3 GB of RAM. There is an internal storage of 32 GB on the device and it comes with a microSD card slot.
The Galaxy XCover 4s is backed by a removable 2,800mAh battery that supports charging through USB-C. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On its front is a selfie snapper of 5-megapixel. There is no fingerprint scanner on the device. There is a XCover key on the edge of the device which can be configured to launch a desired app or function. It also features connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, NFC and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone is expected to release in the European markets by June 12 with a pricing of 250 euros.
