Last month, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G with model number SM-F7070 emerged at the database of China’s TENAA telecom authority. The listing revealed the entire specifications of the upcoming clamshell device. However, the images of the device did not appear in the listing. The TENAA listing of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is now updated with its images.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G is a 5G-enabled version of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G that was made official earlier this year. The clamshell phone is expected to arrive with robust internals, but its images suggest that there may not any significant change in its design.
The interior of the phone features a 6.7-inch foldable AMOLED display that supports 1080 x 2636 pixels resolution. It has a punch-hole design and it houses a front camera of 12-megapixel.
The backside of the device has a horizontal 12-megapixel + 10-megapixel dual-camera system. Alongside it is the secondary AMOLED display of 1.05 inches that offers 112 x 300 pixels.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5Gplay is said to arrive with the latest Snapdragon 865+ mobile platform. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM. It has a 2,500mAH + 704mAH dual-part battery. It has an internal storage of 256 GB. It lacks a microSD card slot. It is loaded with Android 10 OS. The device is equipped with a side-facing fingerprint reader.
There is no word on the pricing of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G yet. The flip phone is expected to break cover on Aug. 5. The same event is likely to see the arrival of other devices like the Galaxy Note 20 series and Galaxy Fold 2 foldable phone.
