Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in July 2024. Therefore, it is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 in July this year. Well before the launch, AndroidHeadlines has teamed up reliable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka. OnLeaks) to share the CAD renders of the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to feature a 3.6-inch cover display, a slight increase from the 3.4-inch panel on its predecessor. The inner screen is also growing marginally to 6.8 inches, up from 6.7 inches.

With dimensions measuring approximately 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9mm (or 9.1mm including the camera bump), the device sees a small size adjustment. While the larger cover display improves usability, it still lags behind the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, which offers a bigger external screen.

The most notable change in the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is its reduced thickness. When unfolded, it measures just 4.5mm thick, making it 1.1mm thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6. In its folded state, the thickness is around 9.5mm, including the camera bump.

The inner display is expected to be approximately 8.2 inches, making it the largest on any book-style foldable to date. Meanwhile, the outer display measures around 6.5 inches, making it wider than its predecessor. Samsung has been gradually widening the front display since the original Galaxy Fold in 2019, aiming to enhance usability. The new dimensions of 158.4 x 143.1 x 4.5mm suggest a further step in that direction.
