Samsung’s next flip phone, known as the Galaxy Z Flip, is slated to be announced on February 11th later this month alongside the Galaxy S20 flagship series.
Last week, courtesy of German outlet Winfuture, we’d been treated with a series of official press renders of the device in both Black and Purple hues.

Now, the same device is within the spotlight once again. A newly leaked video is now circulating around the web, showing off the folding and unfolding mechanism of the Galaxy Z Flip, as well as it’s overall design.
When fully unfolded, we could see an Infinity-Flex display which continues to employ a central hole-punched design. It’s display is said to measure 6.7-inches diagonally, and has a 2636 x 1080 pixels screen resolution.
Upon folding the device, the top-halve of the Galaxy Z Fold will feature a dual-camera setup on the top-left corner. The rear camera module will be equipped with a pair of 12 megapixels (f/1.8 aperture) primary shooter, as well as a 12 megapixels (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide angle camera.
Similarly, there is also a tiny 1.06-inch Super AMOLED display located towards the right of the camera module as well. This will be an “always-on” display which can show time and notifications to the users.
From what we’d learned so far, the Galaxy Z Fold is expected to be driven by the Snapdragon 855+ SoC and offers a respectable 8GB RAM and 256GB native storage space. It will be fueled by a 3,300mAh battery which supports up to 15W fast-charging.
As for the device’s pricing, it is expected to be priced around 1,400 euros in the European markets.
