Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 foldable phone. The device is expected to launch on July 10 along with several other Samsung devices like the Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7 series, and so on. Rumors have claimed the existence of a mysterious Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra, but its details are scarce. Now, a new leak reveals the existence of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim.
Reliable display analyst Ross Young took to Twitter to claim that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim exists. He revealed that the device will be slimmer than the Z Fold 6 and will not have S Pen support. However, its screen will be larger than the Z Fold 6.
He also revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will be announced in the fourth quarter of this year. Popular leaker Ice Universe seconded the leak, claiming that the Slim branded Samsung foldable does exist. He even stated that the announcement of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will coincide with the launch of the Galaxy S25 series by the end of this year. This suggests that the S25 lineup will debut earlier than the S24 lineup, which went official on Jan. 17.
The leaker added that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will have an 8-inch foldable screen on the inside and a 6.5-inch cover display. The other details of the Z Fold 6 Slim are yet to be revealed.
There is a possibility that it may pack weaker specs than the Z Fold 6. Hopefully, the rumor mill will shed more details about the device in the coming days.
