According to popular tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will bring no improvement in the camera department. This means Samsung is reusing camera hardware from the current Fold 5 device for its predecessor.
Thus, the Galaxy Fold 5 will feature a total of 5 cameras, including the triple camera setup at the back, the in-display selfie camera, and the front-facing selfie camera. The current Fold 5 is equipped with a 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN3 primary camera, featuring a 1/1.56” sensor size. This is complemented by a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor.
For selfies, it has a 10-megapixel selfie camera on the cover display and a 16-megapixel under-display camera underneath the inner display. Ice Universe also stated that no camera upgrade was planned for the Fold 5 from the start. However, the rumored Fold 6 Ultra could have a different setup.
To recall, a previous rumor (from a different source) suggested that the Fold 6 Ultra would feature a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 camera to match the S24 Ultra. However, Ice Universe has not confirmed any specifications for the Fold 6 Ultra.

Previous report have revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be lighter than its predecessor. It will weigh 239 grams, down from the Fold 5’s 254 grams. It will also be thinner, measuring 5.6mm when unfolded and 12.1mm when folded.
Samsung is also said to bringing slight changes to the display of the Z Fold 6. Its inner display will measure 7.6 inches and have a 7:6 aspect ratio. Likewise, the external display will measure 6.3 inches and have a 22:9 aspect ratio. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen for Galaxy. Likewise, it will be powered by a 4,400mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
