Samsung Galaxy Fold is the first foldable phone from the company was announced last year. The handset sports a design that allow users to open it like a tablet to view its foldable display. The South Korean company will be announcing the Galaxy Z Flip foldable flip phone on Feb. 11 alongside the Galaxy S20 series. A leakster from China has shared an image that showcases a new three-fold design for an upcoming Galaxy Z foldable phone.

Samsung has an aim of selling 6 million foldable phones in 2020. The Galaxy Z Flip that is expected to arrive with a starting price of around $860 will be Samsung’s first foldable phone for the year 2020.

The clamshell device will be fueled by Snapdragon 855 mobile platform that powered various Android flagship phones in 2019. The trifold Galaxy Z could be the next premium foldable device from Samsung. It could be arriving with flagship specs.

The three-fold design makes the foldable device look like the letter Z. The design provides users with three screen options like small, medium and large. The exact name of the device is not known yet.

The appearance of the device is similar to the tri-folding display phone that the Chinese manufacturer TCL had showcased in October 2018. Hopefully, the South Korean company will shed more light on its upcoming Galaxy Z three-fold design device at the upcoming Feb. 11 Galaxy S20 series launch event.
