Honor has officially confirmed the launch date for the upcoming Honor 500 series after several days of teasers. The brand will unveil the lineup on Nov. 24 in China, while early images and configuration details have been shared. Although Honor has yet to disclose the full specifications, a new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station now outlines what the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro could offer. The leak reveals significant upgrades across display, performance, camera hardware and endurance.

According to the leak, the Honor 500 Pro will feature a 6.55-inch flat OLED display offering a 2736 x 1264 resolution, 1.5K clarity and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is expected to support 3840Hz PWM dimming for reduced flicker. On the front, the device may carry a 50-megapixel camera, while the rear setup could include a 200-megapixel main sensor with a large 1/1.4-inch size, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel IMX856 telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom at a 68 mm focal length.
The phone is said to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform and house an 8000mAh battery with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Additional highlights may include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, a metal mid-frame, RF enhancement via a C1 chip, improved power efficiency using an E2 chip and IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings.

The device is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and carry the same 8000mAh battery with 80W charging. Other expected elements include a metal frame, stereo speakers, the E2 efficiency chip and the same IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection ratings.
