Save the date: Honor 90 GT, Honor Tablet 9 are launching on December 21

After days of leaks, Honor has finally confirmed that it will announce that the Honor 90 GT smartphone and the Honor Tablet 9 are set to launch on Dec. 21 in China. While the former is a sub-flagship phone that promises to offer impressive gaming performance at an affordable price, the latter is said to be the company’s next high-end tablet. Here is a look at what to expect from both products.

The official images of the Honor 90 GT show that it has a flat OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and 3840Hz PWM dimming. With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip onboard, the device is expected to rival the likes of the Realme GT 2, the Redmi K70, and some upcoming phones, such as the OnePlus Ace 3 and the iQOO Neo 9, in the Chinese market.

The device is expected to arrive in multiple configurations, such as 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, and 24 GB RAM + 1 TB storage. There is no information about the battery size of the device.  However, the device is expected to support 100W charging.

The Honor 90 GT’s front camera details are not known yet, but its back panel has a dual-camera setup headlined by an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera. It will arrive in shades such as black, blue, and gold.

As can be seen above, the Honor Tablet 9’s design has been officially confirmed. It will arrive in three shades, such as black, white, and green. And, according to tipster Digital Chat Station, the device will offer up to 512 GB of storage. The tablet is also expected to arrive with support for a stylus and keyboard.
