Honor has officially announced that its performance-focused Honor GT smartphone will be unveiled on Dec. 16 at 7:30pm local time in China. Ahead of the launch, the company has shared promotional images, providing a first look at its rear design. The handset is also listed for reservations on Honor China’s online store, revealing its variants and color options.
Honor GT’s design, color options, and configurations revealed
The official images show that the Honor GT sports a contemporary and polished design, featuring a sophisticated dual-tone finish and flat edges. The rear of the device is dominated by a prominent rectangular camera module, housing two lenses, a dual-tone flash, and a bold “GT” logo at the bottom-right corner.
On the front, the Honor GT features a flat display with a punch-hole design. The bottom edge of the phone includes a USB-C port, a microphone, a SIM card tray, and a speaker, reflecting its clean and functional design.
The official listing of the phone has revealed that it will be available in three shades, such as Ice Crystal White, Phantom Black, and Aurora Green. In terms of configurations, the device will be sold in options, such as 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB.
Honor is yet to confirm the Honor GT’s key specifications. However, a new Weibo post released by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station reveals that it will feature a 1.5K LTPS OLED screen, an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel dual-camera system, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip that clocks at 3.3GHz, 100W fast charging, and a plastic middle frame,
