Honor has officially confirmed the Honor Power 2’s launch date for China, along with early confirmation of its design and color options. While Honor has not revealed every specification yet, recent reports suggest that this device prioritizes battery life and performance upgrades over incremental changes.

Honor has confirmed that the Power 2 will debut in China on Jan. 5, making it the brand’s first smartphone launch of 2026. Official images showcase a redesigned rear panel with a wide rectangular camera module that stretches across the phone’s width. Inspired by Apple iPhone 17 Pro’s design, the handset will be offered in three color options: Rising Sun Orange, Magic Night Black, and Snow White.
Honor has confirmed that the Power 2 will pack a 10,080mAh battery, the largest battery ever used in an Honor smartphone. According to the company, the phone can deliver over 20 hours of screen-on time, extended video playback, and long gaming sessions on a single charge. The device will support 80W wired fast charging and reverse charging for accessories.

The Honor Power 2 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset, which is yet to go official. The phone will be sold in 12GB RAM variants paired with 256GB or 512GB storage. The device is tipped to run Android 16 with MagicOS 10.
Leaks suggest that the handset will feature a 6.79-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Camera hardware is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor and a 16-megapixel front camera.
