Last week, Honor began teasing the arrival of the Honor Win series. For those unfamiliar, this new series was previously being referred to as the Honor GT 2 lineup by the rumour mill. Today, the brand has officially confirmed that the Win series will debut on December 26 in China.
Honor Win series design officially revealed
Honor has already confirmed that the Honor Win series will include two models, but their official names are yet to be revealed. As a result, there is no clarity on whether they will be called the Honor Win and Honor Win Pro.
Apart from confirming the launch date, the brand has also revealed the design of what appears to be the base model. As seen in the official images, the device will be available in black, white, and blue colour options. Leaked renders of this model have also suggested a beige variant, but the brand has yet to officially confirm it.
Images of the alleged Honor Win Pro that surfaced recently suggest a similar overall design. However, it is also said to feature a built-in cooling fan.
The Honor Win and Win Pro are said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipsets, respectively. These devices are also rumoured to pack massive batteries with capacities of up to 10,000mAh. Additionally, they are expected to feature a 165Hz OLED display.
While the rumor mill has revealed some details about the Honor Win series, the company has yet to officially disclose any specifications. Hopefully, upcoming teasers will shed more light on the technical details of these smartphones.
