Save the date: iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition is launching on January 3

For the past few days, iQOO has been teasing the arrival of the iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition in China. The brand officially confirmed today that the Endurance Edition will make its debut on Jan. 3, 2025. Here’s a look at what to expect from the smartphone.

iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition: What to Expect?

The iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition shares the same appearance as the Z9 Turbo, which made its debut in China in April 2024. Like the original model, the Endurance Edition will come in black and white options. In addition, there will be a new blue option, which will arrive as a replacement to the original model’s mint edition.

The Endurance Edition will feature a massive 6,400mAh battery, which is a major change. To recall, the original model has a 6,000mAh battery. The new phone will come with the latest OriginOS 5 instead of the OriginOS 4. For better location tracking, it will arrive with support for dual-frequency GPS.

The iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition’s other specs will be identical to the Z9 Turbo. Therefore, it is expected to have a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED screen with support for a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a fingerprint sensor. The phone is expected to ship with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 6,400mAh battery.

For selfies, the Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition will have a 16-megapixel front camera. Its back panel could be equipped with an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper.
