Save the date: Nothing Phone (2a) is launching on March 5

A couple of days ago, Nothing confirmed that its next mid-range phone will be called the Nothing Phone (2a). Today, the brand officially confirmed that the Phone (2a) will be unveiled on March 5.

Nothing has not disclosed any information about the specifications of the device. However, the rumor mill has been leaking its details in bits and pieces. As per reports, it will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will have an under-display fingerprint scanner and run on Android 14 with a layer of Nothing OS 2.5 on top.

The Nothing Phone (2a) is said to feature the Dimensity 7200 chipset, which indicates that it will rival the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, which features the same chip. It is speculated to come with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of internal storage. It may house a 4,920mAh battery and support 45W fast charging.

The Phone (2a) is expected to feature a Sony IMX615 32-megapixel front-facing camera. On the back, the device will have a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KGN9 primary camera, a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 ultra-wide lens, and an LED flash.

Shown above is one of the teaser images of the Nothing Phone (2a), which reveals a round-shaped camera module housing a horizontal camera system. As reports have revealed, the device is also seen sporting a three-part glyph LED interface. As per reports, the device will come with features like dual speakers and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The Phone (2a) is likely to arrive in variants, such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The device may come with a starting price of 400 euros and come in colors like black and white.
