Since last year, rumors have been going around about when the OnePlus Pad tablet will come out. However, recent reports have pointed out that it will break cover in the first quarter of 2022. Now, the company has confirmed that the OnePlus Pad will come out on Feb. 7 along with other products in the ecosystem.
As it is known, OnePlus’ “Cloud 11” global launch event will be held at 19:30 pm (local time) in India. Besides launching flagship phones, such as the OnePlus 11 and 11R, the company will also announce the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 TWS earbuds, the OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro, and a mechanical keyboard.
The official teaser gives a glimpse of the OnePlus Pad’s front and rear designs. The tablet seems to have a screen with slim bezels, and its back panel has an LED flash and a camera at the center.
While the above render showcases the “Halo Green” variant, the CAD render of the device released by MySmartPrice shows a black model. Hence, it appears that the tablet may arrive in green and black colors. According to the report, the device will have an 11.6-inch display. However, it does not reveal whether it will have an LCD or OLED screen. According to TechRadar, the tablet has an aluminium alloy body and a cambered frame.
There have been some reports that claim that the OnePlus Pad will be a mid-range device. By the look of the device, it can be said that it could be packed with high-end specifications. It goes without saying that the tablet will offer seamless connectivity with ecosystem products, like smartphones, watch, TVs, and earbuds.
