OPPO has released an official confirmation today that it will announce the OPPO A1 Pro at 6 PM (local time) on Nov. 16 in China. To recall, it is the same device that was previously rumored to launch as the OPPO A98. The launch date poster released by the brand has also confirmed the design of the A1 Pro.
The OPPO A1 Pro poster shows that it has a punch-hole display with curved edges. Rumors surrounding the device have claimed that it features a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, a 2160Hz PWM dimming, and an in-screen fingerprint reader.
On the back, there is a dual-camera setup arranged in two camera rings. The text engraved in the glittery portion below the camera module confirms that it has a 108-megapixel primary camera. The main snapper is said to be coupled with a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The OPPO A1 Pro is rumored to ship with the Snapdragon 695 chipset onboard. The handset is likely to arrive with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It will come preloaded with Android 13 OS and ColorOS 13. For additional storage, it will feature a microSD card. The A1 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
In related news, OPPO is expected to launch the Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro+ later this month in China. These devices are said to feature the Snapdragon 778G, Dimensity 8100-Max, and Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipsets, respectively. Next month, the Chinese manufacturer will launch the OPPO Find N2 and OPPO Find N Flip (tentative names) featuring the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.
