Recently, an OPPO phone with model number PJG110 was spotted in the database of the TENAA certification platform. Later, the same phone was found in the product library of China Telecom. The listing revealed that the device will be called the OPPO A2 Pro 5G when it arrives in the Chinese market. Today, the brand released an official confirmation through its Weibo handle that it will announce A2 Pro 5G on Sept. 13.
The first poster confirms showcases the design of the OPPO A2 Pro 5G. It reveals that the device has a large circular camera module on the back, and it will come in at least two shades, such as black and brown. The comapny also confirmed that the smartphone will feature the Dimensity 7050 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, 12 GB of virtual RAM, and support 67W fast charging.
From Sept. 15 to Oct. 8 customers per-ordering the OPPO A2 Pro 5G will receive a special four-year warranty exclusively for the battery. This warranty guarantees that within four years from the start of the service, the battery’s maximum capacity will be evaluated by OPPO’s authorized service center. If the battery’s capacity drops below 80 percent during this four-year period, users can get a free battery replacement once.
OPPO A2 Pro 5G specifications (rumored)
According to o reports, the OPPO A2 Pro 5G will have a curved-edge display 6.67 inches. The OLED panel will produce an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It will have a 16-megapixel front camera, and on the back, it will have a 64-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth or macro camera.
Under the hood, the OPPO A2 Pro 5G will have the Dimensity 7050 chipset, up to 12 GB of RAM, and up to 512 GB of storage. The device will house a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W rapid charging. It is expected to run on ColorOS 13.1-based Android 13.
