OPPO has dropped the veil on its latest smartphone, the F25 Pro 5G, with a scheduled launch date of Feb. 29 in India. This new addition to the F-series is equipped with several enticing features, which seemingly makes it a worthy upgrade over last year’s OPPO F23 5G. Here is a look at the key specifications shared by the company.
OPPO F25 Pro 5G key specifications
The OPPO F25 Pro 5G comes equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and Panda Glass protection. The punch-hole display is integrated with a fingerprint sensor, and it offers 93.4 percent screen space.
The F25 Pro packs a 32-megapixel IMX615 front camera for selfies and video calls. The rear setup includes a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B main lens, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel OV02B10 macro sensor. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording videos in up to 4K resolution at 30fps.
The F25 Pro’s image shown above showcases the “Lava Red” color option. It is also expected to arrive in a light blue version. The phone’s design promises a comfortable grip with a weight of 177 grams and a thickness of just 7.54mm. Adding to its appeal, the F25 Pro 5G offers an IP65 rating, providing reassurance against dust and water intrusion.
Interestingly, the specifications of the F25 Pro 5G bear a striking resemblance to the OPPO Reno 11F 5G, which recently debuted in markets like Indonesia and Malaysia. This raises the possibility that the F25 Pro 5G could be a rebranded version tailored for the Indian market. The Reno 11F 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset and features a large 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The F25 Pro is expected to arrive with a sub-Rs 25,000 ($300) price tag in the country.
