Oppo’s division in China has confirmed that the Oppo K12 Plus will be announced on Oct. 12 in the home market. The device will arrive as an enhanced version of the Oppo K12, which debuted earlier this year. The company has rolled out a couple of posters to confirm some of its key features.
Oppo K12 design, battery size confirmed
As can be seen above, the Oppo K12 Plus’ rear design will be almost identical to the existing K12. The Plus edition will be available in two colors: Basalt Black and Snow White.
The brand has also confirmed that the Oppo K12 Plus will pack a massive 6,400mAh battery. The huge battery will be capable of offering 18+ hours of continuous short video playback and 19+ hours of continuous map navigation.
According to reports, the Oppo PKS110 device, which has been spotted in the databases of Geekbench and the TENAA certification platform, is the upcoming Oppo K12 Plus handset. Reports have revealed that the device will feature a 6.7-inch flat AMOLED screen that supports FHD+ resolution and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the K12 Plus will have the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM, and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. It is expected to run ColorOS 14-based Android 14 and support 80W fast charging. For additional storage, it will have a microSD card slot.
For photography, the K12 Plus will have a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens on the back. On the front, it is expected to feature a 16-megapixel camera.
