Save the date: OPPO Reno 11 series is launching on November 23

In May, OPPO unveiled the Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+ in China. Today, the Chinese manufacturer revealed that it will announce the Reno 11 series at 2 pm (local time) on Nov. 23. While the company has confirmed that the lineup will comprise the Reno 11 and 11 Pro, it is likely that there will not be a Pro+ model.

OPPO Reno 11 series design, specifications

The OPPO Reno 11 and 11 Pro do not have any major differences in design, but leaks claim that they will differ in the hardware aspect. Both phones will come in Obsidian Black and Moonlight Gem (white) color options. Additionally, the Reno 11 will be available in Fluorite Blue, while the Pro edition will have a Turquoise variant.

The Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro will have common features, such as ColorOS 14-based Android 14, a curved-edge OLED panel offering 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 32-megapixel front camera. The rear camera module of both phones will have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

The Reno 11 will arrive with a LYT-600 primary camera, Dimensity 8200 chip, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,700mAh battery with 67W charging. On the other hand, the Reno 11 Pro will have a 50-megapixel IMX890 primary camera, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,800mAh battery with 80W charging. Apart from the Reno 11 series, the brand is also expected to announce the Pad Air 2 tablet on the said date.

In related news, the Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro are not the only phones launching on Nov. 23. On the same day, Nubia will announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Red Magic 9 Pro, whereas Honor will unveil the Honor 100 and 100 Pro.
