Save the date: Oppo Reno 12, 12 Pro are launching on June 18 in Europe

Oppo has finally confirmed the Reno 12 series launch date for the global market. The image below shows that Oppo will unveil the Reno 12 and 12 Pro in Europe on June 18. Reports indicate that both phones will be distinct from their Chinese equivalents, which China announced in May. Here is a look at what to expect from the upcoming series.

Recent leaks reveal that the Reno 12 and 12 Pro will both feature 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz displays with up to 1200 nits brightness. The Pro model will have a quad-curved screen, while the standard will have a dual-edge screen. The Reno 12 will have a 32-megapixel front camera, while the Pro will have a 50-megapixel front camera.

The Pro variant adds an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, while the Reno 12 will include an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Both will come with an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main camera on the back.

The recently unveiled Dimensity 7300-Energy chip will power the Reno 12 and 12 Pro. The Reno 12 will be available in a 12GB+256GB configuration, whereas the Reno 12 Pro will be available in a 12GB+512GB configuration. Both smartphones come with LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, 12 GB virtual RAM, a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging, dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, an IR blaster, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, and ColorOS 14.1-based Android 14.

Oppo is expected to announce the Reno 12 series on different dates in the Asian market. On June 27, the brand plans to unveil it in Malaysia. Rumor has it that the Reno 12 series will make its way to India in July.
