In May, Oppo unveiled the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro smartphones in China. Recent reports have suggested that the brand is gearing up to bring the Reno 14 duo to the global market in the coming days. Today, Oppo Malaysia released an official confirmation that the series will be unveiled on July 1.
Oppo Reno 14 series: What to expect?
According to reports, the Reno 14 lineup will include three models: the Reno 14, Reno 14 Pro, and Reno 14F. Readers should note that the Reno 14F did not debut in China, but its moniker has been revealed through recent certifications. In all likelihood, the Reno 14F will be an entry-level model in the series.
At present, there is no information available about the specifications of the Oppo Reno 14F. As far as the details of the other two phones are concerned, they are likely to be identical to their counterparts available in China.
The Reno 14 has a 6.59-inch OLED panel, whereas the Pro edition gets a larger 6.83-inch OLED screen. Both LTPS panels support a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. These devices run on ColorOS 15-based Android 15.
The Reno 14 has a Dimensity 8350 chipset and a 6,000mAh battery, whereas the Pro version packs the Dimensity 8450 chipset and a bigger 6,200mAh battery. Both phones support 80W charging, but the Pro edition also offers 50W wireless charging.
The Reno 14 and 14 Pro feature an autofocus-enabled 50-megapixel main camera. The back panel of both phones features an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
