Poco has confirmed that it will unveil the Poco M7 on March 3 in India. The handset will be positioned under the M7 Pro, which debuted with a price tag of Rs 14,999 ($175) in the country. The company has released the first teaser of the M7 to confirm its chipset, RAM, and price segment.
Poco M7 5G’s key details confirmed
The above post confirms that the Poco M7 5G’s design will differ from that of the M7 Pro, which features a square camera module on the back. The M7 has a massive round camera module like the existing Poco C75 5G.
The company has confirmed that the Poco M7 will be priced under Rs 10,000 ($115). At this price, the phone will come equipped with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, 6 GB of RAM, and 6 GB of virtual RAM.
The landing page of the M7 available on Flipkart confirms that the Poco M7 has a 6.68-inch display on the front. The screen, which appears to be an LCD panel, offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 600nits of brightness. With few days remaining for the launch, the company is expected to confirm its other details in the coming days.
The Poco M7 was recently spotted in the Google Play Console database with 24108PCE2I model number. Apart from the chip, it revealed that the device will have a 4 GB RAM variant, and its screen will support an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels.
In all likelihood, the Poco M7 5G will be a rebranded version of the Redmi 14C 5G, which packs the same specs that are mentioned above. Additionally, the device offers a 5,160mAh battery with 18W charging, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel rear camera.
