There have been reports that Poco is planning to launch new phones in December. The brand’s Indian wing confirmed today that the country will unveil the Poco M7 Pro 5G and Poco C75 5G on Dec. 17. The dedicated landing pages for these phones, which are now available on Flipkart’s retailer site, have confirmed a few key details about them.
Poco M7 Pro 5G
The Poco M7 Pro 5G is confirmed to feature a 6.67-inch G-OLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 2100nits, it is being advertised as the phone with the brightest display in its price segment.
The M7 Pro’s screen will offer a 5,000:000:1 contrast ratio, which means it will offer deeper blacks and more saturated colors. The display, which will have a punch-hole design, will offer a 92.20 percent screen-to-body ratio, according to the brand. The screen will also feature an in-screen fingerprint sensor and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The company has not yet confirmed any other details about the M7 Pro.
Poco C75 5G
The Poco C75 5G will be the company’s most affordable 5G phone. It will be the only phone in its price category to feature a Sony camera. The Snapdragon 4s Gen2 chipset will power the device.
The C75 will offer up to 8 GB of RAM, which is inclusive of 4 GB of virtual RAM. It will have a dedicated slot for adding a microSD card. Most likely, the device will be a rebranded version of the Redmi A4 5G, which debuted last month in India with a price tag of Rs 8,499 (~$100).
