In March, Realme announced the Realme C55 mid-range phone in Asian markets. Now the brand is gearing up to launch the Realme C53, which will be positioned lower than the C55. The device is confirmed to debut on June 6 in Malaysia. Ahead of the launch, the product page of the device, revealing its specifications and design, is now live on Realme Malaysia’s website.
Realme C53 specifications
The Realme C53’s official listing has revealed that it has a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with a teardrop notch. While the screen supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate, it offers a lower resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The phone runs on Android 13 OS, which is overlaid with the Realme UI T edition.
The Realme C53 features the Unisoc T612 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The phone offers 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage. There is a dedicated microSD card slot on the device for more storage.
For security, the device offers features like a side-facing fingerprint scanner and face unlock. On the front, it is fitted with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The camera island on the back has a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel auxiliary lens, and an LED flash.
As can be seen, the Realme C53 is nothing but a rebranded version of the Realme Narzo N53, which was recently announced in India. Realme is yet to reveal the price of the Realme C53 for the Malaysian market, but it has been confirmed that the device will be made available in Mighty Black and Champion Gold colors.
