Realme unveiled the Realme C53 entry-level smartphone in Malaysia in May. Now, the brand is gearing up to launch the C53 in the Indian market. The phone is set to go official at 12 pm (local time) on July 19 in the country. The officially confirmed details of the phone suggest that it will be a different phone compared to the C53 available in Malaysia.
The Realme C53 boasts a teardrop notch display on the front. Since it appears to be a low-priced phone, it could be equipped with an LCD screen. To ensure security, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner is included.
The topside of the Realme C53 is not visible in the official images. Its bottom houses a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. The left spine of the phone is where you’ll find the SIM slot. On the right, it has a volume rocker and power key integrated with a fingerprint sensor.
On the back, the device features a dual-camera setup accompanied by an LED flash unit, which includes a 108-megapixel primary camera. The company claims that it will be the first phone in its price range to feature such a high-resolution camera.
To ensure long-lasting usage, the Realme C53 will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Realme promises impressive battery life, including 39 days of standby time, 16 hours of video playback, and 81 hours of music playback. With the included charger, the device can reportedly achieve a 50 percent charge in just 52 minutes.
Despite housing a large battery, the Realme C53 maintains a slim profile with a thickness of 7.99mm. Additional details regarding the smartphone remain undisclosed at this time. The India C53 is different from its Malaysian variant, which has a 50-megapixel main camera, 33W fast charging, and a 7.49mm slim chassis.
