Realme’s next C-series phone, the Realme C55, is scheduled to launch on March 7 in India. Indonesia will be the first market to receive it. Realme has been teasing the C55 in India. It remains to be seen whether it launches on the same day or later in the country.
Like other recent Realme phones, the C55 will come preloaded with Android 13 and Realme UI 4.0. However, it will be the first Android phone to sport Apple’s Dynamic Island-like Mini Capsule for notifications.
The specifications of the Realme C55 are available on Realme Indonesia’s website. It reveals that the device will be available in two configurations: 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. However, there is no word on the price of the device. The official renders released by the brand shows that it will be arrive in shades like Rainy Night (black) and Sunshower (gold).
The Realme C55 will have a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with a centered punch-hole. The screen will offer an FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 680 nits. For selfies, it will have an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The C55 will have a 64-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the back.
Under the hood, the Realme C55 will have the Helio G85 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage. It will house a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging support. Its other features include dual 4G VoLTE, NFC, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
