The Realme GT Neo 6 SE will launch on April 11 in China, the brand announced via its Weibo handle. The phone will be revealed at 2 p.m. local time at an event in its home country. It is already available for pre-order via Realme China’s official store and other major e-commerce platforms.
Realme has teased the phone’s key specifications via a series of official posters. The GT Neo 6 SE will be the first Realme phone to feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. Only the OnePlus Ace 3V has featured this new Qualcomm chipset since its announcement a few weeks ago. It is the fastest 7-series Snapdragon SoC and boasts the same architecture as the flagship 8 Gen 3.
The GT Neo 6 SE’s chip will be paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage technologies. The phone is rumored to come with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. Realme employs a three-dimensional cooling system. It comprises 9 layers of heat dissipation material, a 10014 mm2 VC structure, and an ice-sealed middle core. This allows the phone to maintain top performance over a longer period. According to the company, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE managed 59.5 frames on average during an hour-long Genshin Impact gameplay session, with the temperature reaching up to 46.1°C.
The phone is said to pack a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging. Realme has also revealed the Liquid Silver Knight as the phone’s main colorway. It has a two-tone rear design with a distinct camera region. The two cameras are housed inside their respective rings. The primary camera will likely feature a 50-megapixel sensor with OIS.
Realme is introducing the 8T LTPO OLED panel, a co-development with BOE, with the GT Neo 6 SE. This new screen technology boasts 6,000 nits of local peak brightness. Moreover, it also supports variable refresh rates between 0.5 Hz and 120 Hz. Following its release in China, the GT Neo 6 SE is expected to make its global debut as the Realme GT 6.
