Realme has officially confirmed the Realme Neo 8’s launch date for China. Set to launch on January 22, it is designed to rival the likes of the iQOO Z11 Turbo and OnePlus Ace 6T in its home market. Here’s a look at all that is known about this phone.
Realme Neo 8 specifications (rumoured)

The Realme Neo 8 is confirmed to feature a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED M14 panel. It will be a customised screen offering a 1.5K resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 6,500 nits. For security, it will feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Neo 8 will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset onboard. Its TENAA listing revealed that it will come with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Under the hood, it will house an 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging, but it will lack wireless charging support.
It will ship with Realme UI 7 based on Android 16 and feature a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Its back panel will house a triple camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera.
The Neo 8 will come with other features such as an IP68 and IP69-rated body, along with a glass back and a metal frame.
