After making it’s global debut last week, Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the new Redmi Note 12 series smartphones will be officially announced in the Malaysian market on April 5th next week.
At least three different models are expected to be unveiled, including the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, Redmi Note 12 Pro as well as the vanilla Redmi Note 12. The former is the highest-end model, sporting a 200MP triple-cameras and a capable MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro shares a largely similar specs as the Pro+ model, including the same chipset and battery capacity. However, it comes with a downgraded 50MP main camera and a slightly slower 67W charging speed instead of the 120W fast-charging on Note 12 Pro+.
As for the vanilla Redmi Note 12, this will be the most affordable model in the series sporting a Snapdragon 460 chipset, 48MP triple cameras, 5,000mAh battery along with 33W fast-charging support.
